Take Five for Freedom Men's Retreat

The Loxley UMC Men were proud to host Brad McClain in a men's retreat on Friday evening and Saturday morning (July 29, 30). Bro. Brad presented "Take Five for Freedom". The presentation shows men how to understand why they cannot seem to shake off sinful habits of attitude, speech and behavior. Five strongholds were covered; Unbelief, Unthankfulness, Unforgiveness, Unfaithfulness, and Unavailability. These strongholds are supported by our own sin, past hurts, family history, and demonic influence. We found that freedom is available for all of these through Jesus' cleansing, healing, blessing and deliverance. Confession and accountablity are vital, men need to help one another in partnerships with each other and the Holy Spirit.
